The views are awesome. On a clear day you'll see the Olympic Mountain range stretched out across the horizon over the bow of your ship.
A few minutes before landing in a port on the west side of Puget Sound, return to your vehicle for a short trip across Kitsap Peninsula, a populated appendage of the Olympic Peninsula. It is home to Poulsbo, "Little Norway," the Navy's "Mothballed Fleet" and Trident Submarine Base. Next adventure is a ride across Hood Canal Bridge, the longest floating bridge over saltwater in the world.

If you are heading toward Victorian Port Townsend driver may take the scenic ride along Hood Canal through Port Ludlow and Port Hadlock. If your destination further onto the peninsula, you'll head west to connect with highway 101 for a trip to Sunny Sequim, Olympic National Park headquarters and beyond possibly to the Olympic rain forests and Pacific coast.
